Sysadmin is a one-person business. That means the person answering the phone is the same one who set up the server, put the backup in place, and knows why the printer on the second floor sits on its own network.
I work with companies too small to keep an IT department of their own, but dependent enough on their systems to lose real money when something stops.ß
The emphasis is on keeping things simple, documented and predictable: systems that can be explained, backups that can be trusted, and an invoice that holds no surprises.

- I explain things without hiding behind jargon. You should be able to make an informed decision without being a sysadmin yourself.
- Documented
- Every setup is written down. You own your systems and the credentials to them — not me.
- Tested
- A backup that has never been restored is not a backup, it is an assumption. I test them on a schedule.
- Honest
- If a job is not a good fit, or you do not need the thing you asked for, I will say so rather than sell it to you.
